ALIEN SPECIES: The following races are active in the Star Razor game.

AGORRO -

CORTOPI - In the year 2135, humanity made first contact with sentient alien species. While exploring Saturn's recently teraformed and colonized Titan moon, scientists unearthed a mysterious monolith covered in strange runes carved deep into the largest of the Tower Mountains. The lead scientist, Dr. Lianna Roper and a small team investigated the monolith, but it wasn't until one year later and the arrival of the Cortopi ship Brenneshka Val things got interesting.

With the arrival of the alien starship and the matriarch Vorna Bel, the monolith began emanating a low humming sound that was nearly inaudible to humans. To the Cortopi however, the monolith's sounds were like a magnet, drawing them towards humanity. First contact with humanity went surprisingly well, all things considered.

Physically, the Cortopi are as similar to humanity as they are different. The Cortopi stand between 5'7" and 6'2" tall. They weigh anywhere from 100-160lbs. They are durable and intelligent, but elegant and sophisticated as well. Cortopi have two arms and two legs. They walk upright, have opposable thumbs, and (with the exception of hearing) have senses similar to humanity. Where the Cortopi differ from humanity is that they have no hair on their bodies, pointed ears and teeth, and red, violet, or blue skin. Cortopi body temperature is 103 degrees F, making them warm to the touch. They breathe a gas mixture similar to humans, but their homeworlds of Cortonin, Cortopia, Valania, and Sartopia in the Exodus Cluster are arid when compared to Earth's atmosphere.

Cortopi are a matriarchal society where only 1 in 200 births are male. Males are highly prized for reproduction, and most are claimed by more then one matriarch. The Cortopi have evolutionary scales similar to humans, but the average lifespan is 400 human years. While Cortopi science and art are slightly more advanced then humanity's their slower aging process makes their technological advancement about the same. In the 134 years since first contact between the Cortopi and Humanity, both have made extensive advancements based on the other. Human engineers and scientists study Cortopian technology and the Cortopi make extensive use of Human combat tactics. Generally speaking, both races share a mutually beneficial relationship with the other.
