Well, this is set up to be a group encounter, a kind of bonding experience, if you will. The idea is that Boris will help out the ladies, if for no other reason that they're fairly attractive and the the ladies are scrappy enough to help out Boris a bit. With a nice bit of mutual asskicking facilitating a bit of togetherness and group-dynamics then you guys can start working as a team to either escape or takeover the ship. Like that.

well I edited my post, but could not roll the 3d+1 for dex? for kicking someone in the head once the Manda guy has knocked one to the ground.

When the time comes, roll the 3d6 and then add 1 to the total you get. However, we're not ready for rolls yet, this is just the declaration of actions phase. So, you tell what you're going to do like "I'm going to kick Rodian 1 in the head and reserve a Brawling Parry in case he hits back." In which case you'd roll 2d6 + 1.

I want to sweep the first one and send him to the ground for Purple unless I can grab him and throw him into his friends. If I can do that, I want to see if Ican knock more then one down.

Well, writing tentative character actions as narrative is...difficult.

My action might best be described as follows: prepare and execute kicking one in the head if the Mando manages to floor one while reserving a dodge in case anything gets thrown my way.

john.....you realise that posting intentions, then posting reactions and results in turn is going to make things VERY slow in this game?

Can we not just do as we do in most?
