Welcome to Your Knightmare

"With dark glasses I can work reasonably well, and it is commonly over looked in the first few moments of an encounter while they are assessing rank and how to react to the uniform. A bit like walking around a lab in a white coat with a datapad, people tend to leave you alone because you might be busy with something important. It would buy time enough for someone else to get something done, at which point it has served it's purpose. Amouries are hard to get into, thats generally the whole point of them. Taking a holding the bridge would be the best bet, but it would have to be done before the bridge crew could send a message, so the strike there would have to be a supprise."

Sonya sighs deeply feeling frustrated. She knew by this time the rest of the band was likely coming up with an idea to free her, because there would be no hope if things got to trial.

"Agreed, the bridge is a necessity. But if you do not take the armory and galley as well, someone else will take the ship." Boris looked the two over before stopping in the nearest corner. He rested, relaxed with both shoulders touching a wall and feet crossed at the ankles. "I'll try to think of some more people."

Boris slumped down to a seated position with his feet outstretched in front of him and looked up. "Nima, are you actually from Ryloth, or do you have a different lineage? I ask because I was once the silly alien there." Boris smirked fondly.

Nima looked as if she was trying to be angry at the Mandalorian before giving in. "I am from Ryloth, but my parents were merchants. I spent most of my life on a freighter. That is.....in a roundabout manner why I ended up here." She looked the Mando up and down "Looking for slaves were you, or just for a good time?"

Boris chuckled a little. He responded in the native Twi'lek tongue. "No. I can't say that I was looking for either." He sighed. Boris had switched back to Galactic Basic. "I was just a young pup when I first got there. I had my first AR-71 blaster and I thought it was something special with it's night vision scope. It was 11 or 12 years back." Boris sounded like it was a fond memory.

"I ended up spending as much time in the cantinas watching the dancers as I did doing my job. In the end I came to love the place. If I ever get off of this pile of Bantha poo-doo, I'll probably go back. Besides, the home planet of Twi'leks is the last place anyone would look to find me." Then curiosity took over.

"How come you spent so much time on a ship? What kind of merchanting did they do? Any dealings with Hutts? I've dealt with four, but there is only one that I'd trust to not feed me to a Rancor at the first opportunity and that's Oobda."

Within a secret, high-security part of the ship, a male opened his eyes and then closed them again, reaching out with other senses. As he found what he sought, a cold smile of satisfaction creased his lips. He reached out again and-

Suddenly, as you guys are talking, the lights in the room go out and the emergency lights come on, bathing the area in a light the color of blood...

Blinking in supprise Sonya stood up.

"Well well, now that puts an interesting shade on this situation. Emergancy power, somethings happening. Check the door with any luck it was a magna lock so if the powers out it might open."

The light was now at a more comfortable level for her now, what others might deem as just enough to see by to Sonya's eyes it was a good level of light.

Anyone checking the door finds that it has, in fact, unlocked.

Boris is the first to approach the door. He gives everyone the silent signal to stand behind him. He tests it. Finding the door unlocked, Boris gives it a gentle push open, hoping there is no creaking sound. Dropping down to knee level, he pokes just enough of his head out to get a good look down the hallway to the left and to the right. Once it looks like it is clear, he opens the door the rest of the way and steps out. Motioning for the others to follow, he pauses just one last time.

"Alright. It's clear, for now. But chances are other prisoners will make a fuss if they see us, and we're still unarmed. So what's the plan?"

Pulling off the cloth that had been shielding her eyes Sonya moves out quitely blinking to get propper vission back as much as possible.

"Equipment, not going to be able to stay out of the lock up without some sort of gear. And might be an idea to close the door. If the power comes back on and it's open it'll trigger an alarm. Best as you say to draw as little attention as possible."

She kept her words quiet and moved against the bulkhead, keeping low as directed.

As you look out into the hall you see a beam of bobbing light, obviously a glowrod (Star Wars version of a flashlight) shining from beyond a corner and a couple of people, one Stormtrooper with a blaster rifle and one technician start to round the corner.
